Regent Porto Montenegro

15 Oct 2014

Regent Hotels just recently opened its first property in Montenegro. The Regent Porto Montenegro is located within the premises of Porto Montenegro, a luxury residential and super yacht marina development. Situated in Tivat on the Bay of Kotor (Europe’s southern-most fjord and a UNESCO World Heritage site), Porto Montenegro currently provides 400 secure berths for boats ranging in size from 12 to 180 metres. Upon completion, the marina is envisaged to feature about 650 berths out of which 180 will be dedicated to super yachts (greater than 24 metres). This one of a kind development, transformed from a former Yugoslavian naval base, has created a brand in its own right and has helped increase the awareness of Montenegro as a tourism destination.

The luxury hotel was designed by Reardon Smith Architects (UK) and the interior design team Tino Zervudachi of Milinaric and Henry & Zervudachi (FR). The Regent Porto Montenegro comprises of 51 double rooms and 35 one- to three-bedroom residences. The five story building with terracotta roofing blends in with the surrounding environment. Situated in such a way that every room enjoys a view of the stunning Boka Bay and/or the surrounding mountain range, the property compliments the Mediterranean culture and way of life. The hotel represents an important addition to the facilities and service offerings of the overall development.

PKF hotelexperts provided a feasibility study and operator search and is pleased to have contributed to the realisation of such a stunning project in Montenegro.
